Bell Equipment at INTERMAT 2012

One of the highlights of INTERMAT 2012 in Paris, this year‘s largest construction machinery show worldwide, was certainly the presentation of Bell Equipment’s new E-Series of Articulated Dump Trucks. Although being a prototype model, the Bell B30E proved itself as the true show-stopper on the Bell-Stand, provoking vivid discussions and positive reactions under the international hauling experts. From its all-new distinctive design, through evolutionary improvements of driving performance, comfort and safety, to the truck’s intelligent electronic feature which sets up new standards in operator’s assistance – the experts were unanimously convinced that Bell’s new series will define the state-of-the-art in hauling technology for the next years.

The other attraction on the stand of Bell’s successful French subsidiary was “homegrown”: the Bell B50D in colours of French Vinci-Group represented not only the truck specialist’s latest D-series generation, but stood also for one of the largest single fleet contracts for Bell’s flagship worldwide. A fleet of 27 new B50D is to be delivered to Vinci Construction Terrassement this summer to work on the construction of the new Highspeed-Railway line Tours-Bordeaux. Another 13 new Bell B45D and 12 B30D for Fayat Group’s branch Razel/Bec complete the Bell Fleet on this important infrastructure of European scale.

Accordingly strong is the position of Bell in the French home market being currently one of the stablest European ADT markets in Europe. Founded in 1995, Bell France was the first European foothold of the South African truck specialist and succeeded in establishing a dense dealer network with close and sustainable customer relations. This once again proved itself on the traditional Bell France customer evening attended by over 200 guests from all over France.
