“We’re excited to introduce the Bell Motor Grader at Bauma and illustrate the advances we’ve made to a complicated piece of equipment,” says Bell Equipment Product Manager, Jeremiah Mokhomo. “It has been designed as a truly international product with the capability to meeting varying emission regulations requirements and accommodate different types of operator controls.”
Initially the range will comprise three base machines, each with the option of a four- or six-wheel drive configuration. The G140, which will be on display at Bauma, is well suited to all maintenance and light to medium construction tasks. The G160 has increased power and performance to handle heavy construction applications while the G200 is designed for bulk earthworks and the mining industry.
Bell Motor Graders are fitted with Cummins engines and ZF transmissions. The G140 uses the Ergopower transmission, well respected in the grading application for entry level units. The larger G160 and G200 use the cPower transmission, which offers significant advancements through having a transmission that can be easily tailored to a customer’s needs.
Bell will launch the Motor Grader into various international markets in a staged approach through its well-established Bell Articulated Dump Truck dealer network with Europe planned for 2026. According to Jeremiah, the dealer network eagerly anticipates the introduction of an additional product from Bell, an OEM known for delivering innovation, performance, low running costs, and maximum reliability. “The company’s focus on a providing a superior operator experience and incorporating built-in asset protection is well demonstrated and holds particular importance for motor grader owners.”
CE-mark for Bell Tracked Carriers
Bell Equipment’s versatile CE-marked Bell Tracked Carriers are geared to provide a robust and durable short haul solution for soft underfoot conditions and provide access to remote areas that are difficult to reach. Made from higher grades of steel, Bell Tracked Carriers utilise quality components, including the Stage 5 emissions compliant 6,7 Cummins engine and Rexroth hydraulics for optimised fuel consumption and performance.
According to Bell Equipment Product Manager, Brad Castle, the machine’s unique balanced six-roller undercarriage with compound walking beams sets the Tracked Carrier apart, providing an evenly spread footprint with optimal ground pressure contact and less track-point loading. “This results in exceptional operator comfort, promotes longer track life, and reduces ground pressure,” he says.
Bell Tracked Carriers are highly customisable, offering different configurations on the backend to suit a customer’s needs. The 7-ton TC7A has a combination bin that can be used as a dump bed or a flat deck when the sides are folded down and the tailgate is removed. The 11-ton TC11A can be ordered with either a dump bed or a flat deck.
Coming of age for Bell B50E
Fittingly, Bell Equipment will celebrate the 21-year anniversary of its 50-ton Articulated Dump Truck (ADT) concept at Bauma 2025, after having first released the B50D model for worldwide sale at Bauma 2004.
The B50D was the first and only production 50-ton ADT on the market at the time and was updated to the new E-series generation model in 2016, bringing to the market an autonomous-ready platform that is compatible with numerous third-party guidance systems.
Brad comments: “The development of the B50D was driven largely by increased operating costs in the market and, having the largest payload of any ADT on the market at that time gave customers a unique solution: being able to transport a higher payload for marginally more fuel. The reasoning behind the concept remains as valid today, and the B50E has really come of age, showing pleasing product maturity and longevity. Importantly, the B50E continues to set the benchmark with its industry-leading innovation, most notably its autonomous-ready platform and key features aimed at increasing productivity, improving safety, and promoting ease of operation.”
